International Youth Day Statement – Youth Dashboard
On this International Youth Day, Youth Dashboard proudly joins the global community in celebrating the remarkable contributions and potential of young people everywhere. This year’s theme, “Local Youth Action for the SDGs and Beyond,” highlights the critical role that youth play in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the grassroots level and shaping a brighter future for all.
At Youth Dashboard, we believe that meaningful change begins within our communities. Across Ghana, Africa, and beyond, young people are leading the way, innovating, advocating, and taking action to address pressing challenges in education, health, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement. Their creativity, resilience, and commitment are driving progress not only towards the SDGs but also towards a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable world.
As a leading policy think tank in the Youth Ecosystem, Youth Dashboard is dedicated to empowering youth through advocacy, research, and strategic partnerships. Our initiatives are directly aligned with the SDGs, and we are proud to contribute in the following ways:
• Quality Education (SDG 4): We provide capacity-building programs, mentorship, and resources to help young people access quality education and lifelong learning opportunities.
