Coming Soon: National Youth Policy Implementation Review – Be Part of the Change!

Youth Dashboard, Ghana’s premier youth development policy think tank, is excited to announce the upcoming Implementation Review of the National Youth Policy – a groundbreaking initiative to evaluate how well Ghana’s youth policy has been implemented across the country since its launch.

As we approach this critical milestone in our collective effort to improve the lives of young people, we invite youth across Ghana to get involved, raise their voices, and take an active role in shaping the policies that shape their futures.

Why This Review Matters

Ghana’s National Youth Policy was developed to provide a strategic framework for empowering youth across all sectors — from education, health, employment, technology, civic participation, and entrepreneurship. However, having a policy on paper is only half the journey; real transformation happens when that policy is effectively implemented and regularly evaluated.

That’s where Youth Dashboard steps in — to ensure accountability, transparency, and youth engagement in how the National Youth Policy is delivered on the ground. This review will provide timely, evidence-based insights on what has worked, what hasn’t, and what must be improved to ensure that Ghana’s youth development agenda is inclusive, impactful, and responsive to real needs.

What the Implementation Review Will Cover:

  • Assessment of government and agency programmes aligned with the policy
  • Regional disparities and levels of implementation
  • Youth awareness and engagement with the policy
  • Key achievements, gaps, and missed opportunities
  • Voices and experiences of Ghanaian youth from all 16 regions

he results of this review will be published in a detailed report and presented to key stakeholders — including the Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment, National Youth Authority (NYA), Parliament, Civil Society Organisations, and Development Partners.
